Debasafe Medical is a tamper-evident transport bag designed for the secure handling and transport of diagnostic samples and biological substances. The bag is used as secondary packaging and is liquid-tight, making it suitable for controlled sample transport within healthcare, laboratory operations, diagnostics and other environments where sample integrity and controlled access are important.
The bag is made from a transparent, highly tear-resistant polyethylene film, allowing the contents to remain visible while providing reliable protection during handling and transport. The welded seams and secure construction help support safe movement of samples between collection point, department, courier and receiving laboratory.
Debasafe Medical is equipped with a self-adhesive tamper-evident security closure. If the bag is opened or manipulated, this becomes clearly visible, making it easy to check whether the contents have remained protected throughout the handling chain. Unique numbering, barcode and clear markings support traceability and controlled documentation from dispatch to receipt.
The bag is available in several sizes and can also be supplied with an external document pocket for referral forms, laboratory cards or accompanying documentation. Custom print can be added when required, for example with company branding, colour coding, instructions or department-specific information.
Debasafe Medical should be used as part of a correctly structured transport system. Primary receptacles, absorbent material, secondary packaging, outer packaging and correct labelling must always be selected according to the contents, transport method and applicable regulations.
