Sealing with sealing wire

Sealing with sealing wire is used to create a simple and clear security seal for equipment, containers, meters, cabinets and other objects where opening or access needs to be checked afterwards. The method is based on passing a sealing wire through the part that is to be secured and then locking it with a seal.

The range includes clip seals, plastic seals, sealing wire and sealing pliers. Some seals can be applied without tools, while others are pressed closed with sealing pliers to create a permanent closure. Once the seal has been fitted, it becomes visible if the seal has been broken, cut or tampered with.
