Plastic pull-through security seals are a practical and cost-effective type of security seal for sealing equipment, containers and other items where it must be easy to check whether a closure has been broken. They are often used in environments where traceability, responsibility and clear control routines are important parts of daily handling.
A pull-through seal is closed by threading the tail of the seal through the locking chamber, where it locks into place. Once the seal has been closed, it cannot be opened without being broken or visibly damaged, making it clear if someone has attempted to interfere with the seal. This provides a simple visual check during receipt, handover, transport, inventory or other internal handling.
The range includes pull-through security seals in several lengths, colours and designs. Colour coding can be used to distinguish between departments, areas of use, authorization levels or different types of flows. Many models are also supplied with sequential numbering, barcode or tear-off receipt, which makes documentation easier and enables traceability of which seal was used at a specific point in time.
Pull-through seals are suitable for sealing transport boxes, trolleys, cages, sacks, bins, bags, meters, cabinets and other equipment with an eyelet or sealing point. They are particularly useful when a clear indication of an intact closure is needed without using more advanced lock or sealing systems.
