Loomis eStore AB (“Loomis” or “we”) values the privacy of our customers. This privacy notice describes how we collect and how we process personal data when you visit our website and purchase products on our webshop. Responsibility for personal data

Loomis eStore AB (Loomis) is the data controller for the processing of personal data that takes place on our website and during your purchase. Your personal data is processed, used and protected in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

 

Why do we process personal data?

Personal information provided via this website, including our webshop, may be used to answer inquiries, improve our services and customer offerings, comply with applicable laws such as reporting intrusion attempts to authorities, support internal administration and quality control, and process product purchases. Personal data will not be used for marketing purposes unless we have received your prior consent.

 

What personal data is collected?

Loomis may collect personal data such as name, address, telephone number, email address, organization number only when you as a customer register or otherwise voluntarily share this information. No special categories of personal data are collected. When processing purchases of products via our website, answering inquiries and improving our service and offer to customers, the legal basis is based on the agreement between Loomis and customer or in order to take steps to enter into an agreement. The legal basis for internal administration and quality control is Loomis' legitimate interest.

Retention of personal data

Cookies

Local storage is another way of storing the same type of information that a cookie contains locally on your device. Loomis uses local data storage to make your experience of our website as good as possible. Local storage is used, among other things, to record whether you are shopping as a legal entity or as a private person, and to remember the contents of your cart when you shop on the website. Without these cookies, the website would not be able to function properly.

Consent is not required for cookies or local storage of data that is necessary to perform a certain service, for example a technical function, which the user expressly requests. Transfer and sharing of personal data

The personal data collected is stored and processed within the EU/EEA and is not transferred to a so-called third country. If a transfer to a third country occurs, we ensure that an adequate level of protection is in place or that appropriate safeguards have been implemented in accordance with the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses to protect your rights.

In some cases, Loomis engages Processors. Loomis uses service providers (Processors) wo support us with various IT systems, such as email, customer relationship management (CRM), and financial systems. The Processors may only process personal data in accordance with instructions they have received from Loomis. The Processors and their Sub-Processors never receive more information than is required to provide the service they have agreed to with Loomis. We enter into Data Protection Agreements with all its Processors.

Loomis also uses transport service providers, such as Postnord and Bring, and will share relevant personal data with them to ensure delivery of your products. These providers act as independent data controllers for the processing they carry out in connection with the delivery.

Loomis may also share personal data with third parties due to obligation under law, regulation or government decision.

 

Your rights

As a data subject, you have several rights. Below you can read what rights may be relevant for the processing of your personal data. Right to information

You have the right to be informed about how we process your personal data. We do this through this document as well as by answering questions from you regarding how we process your personal data.

 

Right to access your personal data

You can request to be informed about whether Loomis is processing personal data concerning you. In that case, you can request a copy of these. Send your request for register extracts to les.kundtjanst@loomis.com and please specify which personal data processing you are interested in accessing. The register extract is normally sent to you within a month.

 

Right to rectification

If you believe that the personal data concerning you is incorrect or incomplete, you can request to have the data corrected or supplemented. You have the right to request that we correct incorrect or incomplete information about you, and that we supplement your information.

 

The right to object to our processing of your personal data

In accordance with data protection legislation, you have the right in some cases to object to the processing of your personal data. This applies, for example, if the processing of the personal data is based on legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Right to erasure (the right to be forgotten)

In some cases, you can have your personal data deleted. In some cases, Loomis does not have the option to delete your personal data. In that case, it is because the data is either still necessary to process for the purpose for which it was collected or because we have a legal requirement to keep it. Right to access and move your personal data to another recipient (“Data Portability”)

If Loomis processes personal data about you, you have the right to data portability in certain cases. This means that you can request a copy of the data that you yourself have provided to Loomis on an IT medium for data portability, such as a USB stick. This is so that you can move your personal data to another recipient.

 

Right to object to an automated decision

You have the right to object to automated decision-making. There is no automated decision-making or any so-called profiling in connection with the processing of personal data within Loomis.

 

Right to withdraw consent

In cases where we process your personal data based on your consent or express consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. When you withdraw your consent, we will stop the processing.
