This leak-proof 95 kPa specimen bag in A5 format is designed as secondary packaging for the transport of biological samples, Category B, UN3373. The 175 × 295 mm size is suitable for smaller primary containers and accompanying documentation where safe and clear specimen handling is required in healthcare, laboratories, diagnostics and transport.
The product is intended for road and air transport and has been tested by an external laboratory in accordance with Packing Instruction P650 for ADR and IATA Class 6.2. The bag is made from polyethylene and has a strong self-adhesive closure that helps ensure secure containment of the specimen during handling and transport.
The bag is supplied with an absorbent inside, helping to absorb liquid in the event of leakage from the primary container. A separate document pocket allows the specimen and paperwork to be kept apart, simplifying handling and reducing the risk of documentation being affected.
The A5 version is particularly suitable when the specimen does not require a larger transport bag, but where the same requirements for leak-proof containment, specimen logistics and compliant secondary packaging still apply. The bag can be opened without a knife or scissors using the tear guides on the sides and bottom.
